HAPPY Birtrhday Pappy

This weekend we went to PA for Tim's grandfathers 75th surprise party. Tim's mom flew in from CO . He was surprised to see us too. It is a 5 hour drive to Tim's aunt Dawns farm. While we were there we took some pictures on the farm of our family and the cousins. We had a great time and didn't want to leave.

Madisyn the cheerleader

While we were visiting Tim's family Madisyn became a cheerleader :). His cousin Erica is a cheer and tumble coach for the all star teams in their area. Her daughters cheer and are amazing. They taught madsiyn a few things. She learned how to do a standing back bend and kick over. I cant believe she got it in a day. so I guess we need to put her back in tumbling. She has always wanted to do cheer leading so maybe we will give that a try too.

Halloween Party

On Friday We had our annual Halloween party. Well we didn't do it last year but anyway it was a lot of fun. We bobbed for apples , bowled for ghosts , decorated pumpkins and goody bags. We ate mummy dogs , monster apples , skeleton bones , spider crackers and eye ball cup cakes. Although it was a blast I really missed my friend Sarah and her scary witch fingers and awesome story telling. We have always done the party together until we moved away from each other
Hope you enjoy the pictures

FALL FUN

This weekend we went to fifer orchards to go apple picking. They have lots of fun fall things to do. First we took a tractor ride out to the apple orchards and picked about 20 apples. The kids had a lot of fun doing this and it was a beautiful day. Then we headed for the activity area where there was a big fast slide. It was really fun I went down with Madisyn and Logan. Then we did 2 corn mazes, a big one and a small one. They also had tricycle races and duck races (plastic ducks) We saw Aidan's teacher she was riding a tricycle . Aidan thought that was hilarious. Then we moved on to pumpkin painting. The kids each got there own pumpkin to paint. We ended the day with yummy homemade ice cream and apple cider donuts. What a fun family day we had!!!!

LOGAN THE SKATER

When you ask Logan what he wants to be when he grows up he will tell you that he wants to be a surfer. Sense we don't have the ocean in our back yard he decided to try out skateboarding. He is so funny I love my little long haired surfer/skater dude :)

Yummy dinner

I made this dinner the other night and it was soooo good and easy. Great for a week night.

CHICKEN FAJITA FOIL PACKETS

1-1/2 cups instant white rice, uncooked
1-1/2 cups hot water
1 Tbsp. TACO BELL® HOME ORIGINALS® Taco Seasoning Mix
4 small boneless skinless chicken breast halves (1 lb.)
1 each: green and red pepper, cut into strips
1/2 cup TACO BELL® HOME ORIGINALS® Thick 'N Chunky Salsa
1/2 cup KRAFT Mexican Style Shredded Taco Cheese
Make It
HEAT oven to 400ºF. Fold up all sides of each of four 18x12-inch sheets of heavy-duty foil to form 1-inch rim; spray foil with cooking spray. Combine rice, water and taco seasoning; spoon evenly onto centers of foil. Top evenly with remaining ingredients.
BRING up foil sides. Double fold top and ends to seal each packet, leaving room for heat circulation inside. Place in 15x10x1-inch baking pan.
BAKE 30 to 35 min. or until chicken is cooked through (165ºF). Let stand 5 min. Cut slits in foil to release steam before opening packets.
